"Soprano Rachel Marsh, from Wales, is a substantial presence with voice to match – I feared for the chandeliers! Her programme of Mozart, Wolf and Puccini showed us dramatic force and excellent Italian, sung with style and composure."- Peter Lloyd Williams (This is Bath)
"It is always difficult to sing a well-known song. I have just conducted Angela Gheorgiu in Gianni Schicchi. Did Rachel sing it as well as her? Yes she did! It was sung on the level of a professional opera singer."-Simon Chesterfield (Judge from Serenata Classical Music Festival)
''Beautiful, impressive voice'' -Dominic Neville (Conductor of the Llandaf Choral Society)
On behalf of myself and Chepstow Male Voice Choir, I am writing to thank you for performing at our 25th Anniversary Concert. The concert was recorded live and your performance was outstanding. We have had many, many compliments regarding your singing. Your choice of programme was perfect for the setting in St Mary's Priory church, from the beautiful, pure sound you produced in Faures 'Pie Jesu' to your operatic solo from 'Carmen'. As well as having a wonderful voice, we found you pleasant and friendly to work with and would recommend you without hesitation as a soloist to other choirs. -Elaine Matthews (Musical Director,Chepstow Male Voice Choir)
